We all experience similar life stresses but manage them in different ways. Because you are unique, your therapy should be tailored to fit your needs. The initial appointment is as much an evaluation of your needs as it is for you to see if you will connect with us.
How therapy works
Clicking with your therapist is important. During the first session we will gather your history, identify where you are, what you have tried, what’s worked and what has not and develop an initial treatment plan. Together we will find what works for you.
To prepare for your first session, we often ask you to identify where you struggle, when you are getting stuck, and where you are succeeding so we can help turn your Insights Into Action.
Several of our therapists are trained in LGBTQ needs and challenges. We do not support conversion therapy.
